At Stories by Savannah LLC, we pour our hearts into crafting magical books, curated subscription boxes, and unforgettable sensory storytelling workshops. Because we are a small business specializing in seasonal, limited-run, and highly customized items, we have established the following guidelines regarding refunds, cancellations, and returns.
By purchasing our products or booking our services, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Physical Books & Retail Items
All Sales Are Final: Due to the nature of self-published print runs, book purchases (including Muddy Maddi and Dominic) are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind.
Damaged or Misprinted Items: If your book or retail product arrives damaged, torn, or with a major printing defect, we will gladly send a replacement. Please contact us at info@storiesbysavannah.com within seven (7) days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage.
2. "Soil to Soul" Subscription Boxes
Because our subscription boxes contain highly curated, seasonal, and perishable elements (such as organic seeds, clay, or specific sensory play materials), we plan inventory months in advance.
All Box Sales Are Final: We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any shipped or in-transit subscription boxes.
Subscription Cancellations: You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time through your customer portal. To avoid being charged for the next renewal cycle, cancellation requests must be processed at least five (5) business days before your scheduled renewal billing date. Once a charge has been processed, that month's box is locked for shipment and cannot be refunded.
Damaged Box Contents: If any specific item inside your box arrives damaged or broken, please email us with photos within seven (7) days of delivery, and we will send a replacement for that specific item.
3. Digital Downloads & Lesson Plans
No Refunds on Digital Products: All sales of digital downloads, printable lesson plans, curriculum guides, and PDF activities are final and non-refundable. Once the digital file is purchased and the download link is generated, we cannot claw back access to the digital asset.
4. Interactive Events, Storytelling, and Workshops
When you book Savannah for a school assembly, library program, community festival, or private agricultural workshop, we reserve that calendar date exclusively for your organization.
Non-Refundable Deposits: A booking deposit (typically 50% of the total event fee, unless otherwise specified in your Presentation Agreement) is required to secure your date. This deposit is strictly non-refundable as it covers date reservation and preparatory material curation.
Rescheduling & Postponements:
If an event must be postponed due to school closures, inclement weather, natural disasters, or unexpected illness, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule your session to an agreeable date.
Your non-refundable deposit will be applied as a full credit toward the rescheduled event, provided it is booked and completed within twelve (12) months of the original event date.
Cancellations by the Host: If you cancel your booked event entirely without rescheduling, your deposit is forfeited. Cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled event may still be subject to the full balance of the presentation fee.
5. Shipping & Lost Packages
Address Accuracy: We ship to the exact address provided at checkout. Stories by Savannah is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdelivered packages resulting from incorrect shipping information entered by the customer.
Carrier Delays & Theft: Once a package is handed over to our shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx), we cannot control transit times or stolen packages. If tracking shows your package was "Delivered" but you have not received it, please contact your local carrier directly to file a claim.
